2 ripe Hass avacados
½ cup *Sweat Pea-Baby Kale Base Blend
Juice of 1 lime
2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh basil leaves
¼ teaspoon sea salt
A few turns of freshly ground black pepper
½ cup minced red onion (optional)
1 small jalapeño, seeded and minced (optional)

3 cups sweet green frozen peas
8 cups loosely packed baby kale
Makes about 3 cups
Place the peas in a large heatproof bowl. Bring a medium pot of tap water into a high-powered blender and pulse a few times to reduce its volume. Drain the peas and add them to the blender, along with 3 to 4 tablespoons of filtered water, and puree until smooth, adding more water as necessary.
Halve the avocados lengthwise, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a small bowl. Add the remaining ingredients, mixing lightly with a fork and serve.
