Serves about 4, depending on the size of the bunch of kale

This is a great way to get the kids to eat greens every once in a while. Not so bad for grown-ups either…

1/2 large bunch kale
1 teaspoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon shoyu

Preheat the oven to 350°F. Tear the kale into large bite-size pieces. Combine the oil and shoyu and massage the kale with this mixture until well coated. Use more if necessary. Place on a baking sheet or in a Pyrex baking dish and put on the center rack of the oven. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, until crispy. Serve.
