This basic recipe will become a staple for your intermittent fasting regimen. Chicken Burgers are easy to whip up and they store well, so you can always have a quick meal on the go. You can also make them your own by substituting any type of meat and spices.
Ingredients (Serves 4):
- 1 pound ground chicken
- 1 ⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1 ⁄2 teaspoon ground white pepper
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1 ⁄4 cup grated
- Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- In a large bowl, mix all ingredients except oil together with your hands until well combined.
- Shape mixture into 4 patties.
- In a large skillet heat oil on medium-high 1 minute and add burgers. Brown on one side about 5 minutes, then flip and cook other side another 5 minutes until cooked through. Serve hot.
