Walking is scientifically proven to release endorphins in your brain, which improves your overall mindset. All physical activity in general boosts your endorphin levels. However, not all of us have time to go on a full out run before work, so walking is an easy solution.

Also, taking a quick walk burns calories. So, if you just don’t have the time to hit the gym, then walking can be a quick alternative to at least get some physical activity in for the day.
