Cool down with this limealicious summer specialty. Best of all, you don’t have to leave the comforts of your own home to have it! Invite over some friends and whip up this easy recipe from Brooke Parkhurst and James Briscione, authors of Just Married and Cooking: 200 Recipes for Living, Eating, and Entertaining Together.
Serves 6 to 8
4 ounces fresh lime juice (4 to 5 limes)
2 ounces fresh lemon juice
2 ounces fresh orange juice
1/4 cup granulated sugar
4 ounces Cointreau or Triple Sec
1 bottle Sauvignon Blanc (preferably from New Zealand), chilled
lime wedges for garnish
Combine the fruit juices and sugar in a pitcher and stir until the sugar is dissolved. Stir in the Cointreau, wine, and a few ice cubes. Pour into wineglasses over a few ice cubes and garnish each with a lime wedge; salt optional.
